An Invitation to

Makgeolli Experience Tour
for Foreign Investors
We would like to invite you to an unforgettable experience in Pocheon, Gyeonggi Province where you can experience the best of Western and Eastern Culture in the very same day.

Makgeolli (막걸리, also known as Korean rice wine or rice beer), has been around in Korea for centuries, but only in recent years it has made a comeback into the mainstream. The quality has dramatically improved, and now it is praised for its contribution to health and its great flavor. Time to find out the fascination of Makgeolli for yourself!

The tour, as you will find out, includes far more than just a couple of drinks of Makgeolli, though.

We will begin the tour with the visit of “Herb Island”, including the biggest herb botanic garden in Korea. Here you can admire many herb plants and herb related products in all its varieties, as well as enjoying the European flavor the place is famous for.

The highlight of the tour, however, is “Sansawon”: a place devoted to traditional Korean liquor. Here, you will be able to make your own Makgeolli! Moreover, you can taste 20 sorts of Korean liquor and visit the liquor museum.

This event will also be a perfect “learning-doing-experience” for you – when you leave the place, you will find out that you know lot more about Korean traditional drinks, as well as gain a deeper understanding of the Korean culture!

If you are interested, register quickly as we can only accept 35 families for this tour.
Call 1600-7119 and ask about the Makgeolli Experience tour.

Best regards,
